Ground problem on turn signals cured, but horns do not blow. I have traced the problem and have found the source, I think, but sort of hope not. I believe my problem is the wire ( Yellow/Green ) that runs down the steering tube, inside horn rod itself. I am going to pull the switch off of the end of the steering column and check the continuity of that wire to be sure that's it. If that wire is the problem, on my pickup, I will have to loosen the steering column, from the frame and dash, and shift the wheel over to the right to get the horn rod out through the back window after removing glass from the back window. That will be way to much trouble for my old bod and I just ain't going to do it. I'll let the next younger fellow fool with it when I'm gone. LOL HOW DO I BYPASS THAT ROD AND PUT A HORN BUTTON SOMEWHERE ELSE, SAY ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE STEERING TUBE NEAR THE STEERING WHEEL? Do I just cut into the BL/Y wire going to the horn itself, most anywhere, and splice in another horn button? Thanks for your help. I only know there are two kinds of electricity. the kind that will hurt you, and the kind that will make you hurt yourself.
