There's no shortage of fools and their money.
I was amazed, watching the B-J Auction for all of ten minutes, when some idiot bought a junk 1950 F-1 pickup ( had some mechanical updates, body rusted looked like hell) and paid $44,000 with the buyer's premium. The much hyped and venerated 'Barn Find' B.S. Not long after that some stupid paid over $70K for a pure piece of crap 1967 Dodge Dart that looked as bad as the F-1, BUT it was being sold by the fools on Gas Monkey Garage Richard and the bearded clown sidekick. Their 'restorations' are a pure joke. |

I have a turd, very rare, highly collectable, kind of looks like Karl Malden, hell, I'll even throw in a certificate of authenticity.
I wonder if he'll take a trade...yep, I've been smok'n too.

Some guys over there are selling under several names, and are driving prices higher and higher. Look up antique headlight lenses. Nothing gives a site a more legitimate look than ''several'' sellers offering similar items at a consistent price. EBay is being killed by this practice. People will quit even looking when the prices reach a certain level, whether it's diapers or donuts. Look up almost anything (product) online, several search engines or differently- named sites pop up...most all eBay snares.

Do you Canadians get the ebay "import charges"?
These don't seem to correspond to any of our taxes. Seem to be an ebay tax. Maybe ebay is now its own country. |

re: eBay Auction / Buy it Now for $2,500
"old steel spoked rim ford model a vintage 1930-1931 model a yard art" You infidels are all missing the point . . . The key to the answer to that pricing is with the last two words "yard art" |
