Welcom to a great site. Many here also populate this other site as well. You might find it helpful, with a fantastic "tech page"

You'll like it here. Joining this group was the second best thing you did after buying your car!!!

Welcome to the Barn, Old Guy Rich. Having a low mile '50 Merc in a sense makes you a rich old guy in my opinion.

You guys are great, thanks once again. Alaska Jim, it sounds like you have a good one, hope mine is as good.
Shoebox, no overdrive, wish it did. I'm looking locally in south Ga.
48coupe, what back in the day means to me is the best time ever to grow up.
Tony M, I will post some pics as soon as I find them in the computer.
Mark, I will use the search tool, it's like being a kid in a candy store.
Ken, humor is humor, I enjoy it.
Cecil, I will enjoy my Mercury, no doubt.
Russ, I will definitely check that site out, thanks.
RKS.PA/Dick, neat comment.
Ted, I agree, I just enjoy driving it around slow and easy, my need for speed is long gone.
The only change I want to make to the car is dual exhaust. My Merc in high school was a two door with skirts, a visor and duals, other than that this one will remain the way it is now.
