Default Re: Oil level

All is well with the world again. This morning I did some grinding on the dipstick and it now slips down in the hole as it should, right up to the ring. Of course then I found that the pan was one quart over full so I had to drain some out. Oil is now sitting halfway between low and full on the dipstick. Thanks to everyone for your help. I didn't realize an oil change could be so interesting.

Heck, everything with Model A's is interesting, especially reading this forum.
