Too fast of flow will erode portions of the water passage due to cavitation, which also causes temporary air in the system. Not good for cooling or the block/head.

Its a 29 Four Door Ford Murray Body in GREAT shape it even has the Murray Emblem on the bottom right side of the cawl.

OK I might be close to my problems or should I say for my bothers coupe lol Anyways last month I ran 3 gallons of Vinegar through it for a few days and we got a nice bucket of dirty water. A few days back I did the same thing and drained it last night. This time we got a frothy foam, Dad said looks like stop leak. Now if I am getting this under control with the Temp LoL wonder where the leak was to start with? GoFigure

Sorry my instruction were lacking. Regardless of the speed of the water I'd think the radiator is a heat exchanger. Has a long talk re this with a very bright fellow. I came to agree to fast is an old adage.

Veger, if your timing is advanced that much, then you are taking a big chance on beating your Babbitt out. We had a engine with low milage, at the repair facility for the 2014 mafca meet last week, and that's exactly what happened.
