TREV, thats was US$$,used DHL from summit,
HEARD, No GPS,just looked at the map and hit the road,we had a rough idea where we wanted to travel and used the back roads where we could. BILL, No plans as such,I started with a chalk out line of a double mattress on the floor then worked out seats etc, and scaled it up , wife Carol did the paint, seats cushions and curtains. JOHN, I,m ashamed to say, but I,m building a 276 59a engine for it,It took a BIG decision to go that way as like you I,m a real fan of the early engines, WAYNO, No trip to the Rouge yet,it would float.but maybe a trip around Australia in it in August.(14000klms) I also found a couple of old fords on the week away, this one and another that was TOO far up into the scrub and I only had sneakers on and was worries about snakes.
