Looks like I'll be a "no show" for this years Bash in Florida. I hate missing out on all the fun! Maybe I will make the Moonshine Festival in Dawsonville, GA this October and meet up with the Cigar City Flathead's there.

On the way. In Danbury CT for the night. Didn't beat the storm. We will see what the morning brings. The last 20 miles were more of a pinched ass ride instead of white knuckles. Can't wait to get to the sunshine state. Vic, you better have the heat on.

Hey Chuck, 41ford1, great to see you and Karen are on the road. Looking forward to meeting on Wednesday. Looks like the low on Tuesday will be 28 so you will have to get further south before you get any relief.

Hey Denise, I didn't know you were planning to attend. Are you on a business trip in that area or are you driving one of your cars down? Sorry to miss you! I looked for you at the Jalopy Showdown last year but you were nowhere to be found .

Chuck, the heat is on... Should be in the mid 70's when you get here. There is a slight chance of some liquid sunshine but that's always a possibility.

Liquid sunshine is good!! The Courier needs a real good rinse after the brine and salt road treatment it's seen in the last couple of days. Hope to give it abath before getting to the train. See you definitely Friday if not Thursday evening.

Kind of a last minute trip. I'm only attending the Sunday FordBarn gig at Vic's place and lunch as I'm going to attend BilletProof on Saturday. Gotta spread the love thin while I'm here.

Are you on a business trip in that area or are you driving one of your cars down?
Neither, I flew down here to spend a couple of weeks with my folks who winter down here.

Sorry to miss you! I looked for you at the Jalopy Showdown last year but you were nowhere to be found .
I was there for two days, in my wagon. I'll be there again in May. Call me and I'll meet you at my car which is always parked in the same location as I grab that spot the night before.

Hey Vic, do you have a place to meet up for breakfast yet? I'll be diving down on Friday and don't know how the fog and traffic will be. I plan on meeting up at the motel, but if I don't make it, the restrant would be good to know. Thanks Chuck S.

Hi Chuck, the short answer is no... I don't know the area and Steve (Steve's '46) had been looking for a place. PM me if you don't have my cell phone # and I'll give it to you so we can communicate on Friday morning. See you in Sarasota. Vic

I am not too familiar with the area as well however when I was getting the hotel established, I did notice there was an IHOP located a couple of miles south of the hotel. The address is 1199 N Washington Blvd. Steve
