I hope you find the skirts in the trunk. They are made of unnabtainium. it's been awile but I don't recall a access plate for the sending unit in the trunk of my 38. As for starting it, I would pull and clean the oil pan and pump screen. You'll find it all looks like a ford but its slightly diffrent. Nice find and please keep us posted on your progress. Tim
