Default Ford Script 28-29 Radiator Top Tank.

I have four original 28-29 round tube radiators & today while cleaning them found one with a "FORD" script (SMALL, BUT CLEAR) on the upper right tank back, on the passenger side.. Have never seen or heard of this before. ????? STANDARDS say nothing...

AWW COME ON FRED...YOU ARE PUTTING ME ON!

Just kidding...Ford did make a radiator during 28-29 as you can see by the "Radiator Core Tube Patterns" in the standards.

So no doubt Ford stamped his name on the parts but this is a first I have heard about one being found with the script. Guess I have not looked close enough!

What does it measure?

They were built at the Highland Park plant but the production was soon transfered to the Green Island plant near Albany, New York (Ford Industries, 1929).

Please post a picture of it as I'd like to see.

All you have to do. Click the "Go Advanced" at the very bottom of this page. Then, click on the icon of the paper clip above the field where you input text.

Click "Browse" and then locate the picture wherever it is on your computer. Then Click "Upload" on that page.

Boom, should be all you need. I can't really help you find the picture on your puter when you hook up your camera.

How I figured out, how to post photos, made it very easy.
I put my photos on my "Desktop". They can be no wider than 800 pixals. If they are wider, it will not work.
1. Click on "Advanced".
2. Scroll down to "Manage Attachments".
3. Click on "Manage Attachments".
4. Click on "Brouse".
5. Double click on your picture.
6. Click on "Upload"
7. Click on "Close This Window".
8. YOU ARE DONE !
9. Click on "Preview". If you got it right, click on "Submit". If not, experiment.
This will post "Thumb-nail" photos.
If you want to post more than one photo, click again on "Brouse" and Double click your next photo, before clicking on "Close This Window". (Steps 4-5-6).
Good Luck,
MIKE

Congrats on being able to post pictures now. That is the first radiator that I have seen with a script on it

That is pretty cool, is it stamped or embossed?

Glad to see you were able to post the pictures, keep them coming!

I have a two Ford script upper tanks on round tube radiators. The scripts are in the same spot on them.
