If this is for real it's a very poor wood replacement body job. All wood has been aged to look old. They didn't use bead board paneling sheets back then. All of the cab and cowl appears to be made of pine. Body would have been made of hardwood. Looks neat but it's all for show. Definitely not the real deal or I mean to say nothing left of the real deal.

That wheel looks like an upside down model t wheel, not a fatman.

Just noticed that on the wheel. It is an upside down T.

A "fat man" steering wheel swings or slides out of the way of the driver, giving more room for getting in and out of the vehicle.

Several other Model A's in this sale---very very poorly done cars. Pretty much junk in my eye. The '28 Roadster is a real mess. Looks like Aunt Jenny's Dare Care kids spray bombed it last month with rattle cans. When you shut the driver's door the LH Quarter panel wobbles. Bad! Engine compartment hasn't been touched in years, not running anyway. One neat old car was some kind of Studebaker Coupe about a 1930 vintage. THAT was not too bad but the Fords were awful. I'd venture that at least 90% of the cars in the sale, are what you'd call 'back-row beauties' with terrible paint and body work. Mudded in Midwest rot.

One other car that WAS nice (and I'm not a Chevy man at all) was a 1973 Camaro with 30K original one owner miles. That thing was MINT still had the new car smell.

I may go back Tuesday for the petroliana sale and bid some gasoline globes, but not in the mood to get stupid nothing to go crazy over.
Why an AA chassis? That seems like a LOT of overkill for a hearse?

If someone can get it for a decent (low) price, it would be a fun car, especially at Halloween.
