Just saw a restored 1934 V-8 sell for more than $27 K.....I got my '33 for $10 K.......and I know I can double it with a new paint job someday.

There are still pretty many A and AA trucks around I think-- at least in my area. They made a lot of them. I believe a lot of AA cabs have been put on car chassis and made into pickup trucks. You can buy a nice pickup bed new and the pickup is easier to store and more practical to drive. I like my "Big Iron" AA though, and I think everyone should have one.

That is why I jumped on the chance to get my 29 CCPU, you just do not see them anymore, especially here in Michigan where the salt finished what the farmer started.

Mine was born and raised in Southern California, and spent most of it's adult life there before retiring to Alaska.

Chief worked for the W.P.A. driving an AA open cab dump truck, hauling gravel. He said the sheet metal looked like a pretzel, but them ol dudes jest kept on TRUCKIN.' He said the old bas***d that loaded him would ALWAYS put gravel down the back of his seat and laugh his A** off. Chief got even when he filled Robert's lunch bucket with WET cement, yes, on top of his lunch. And they were BUDDIES!
