Default 1926 Touring No Reserve on BaT

There is a 1926 Touring Car on BringATrailer dot com at no reserve. Current bid is $4,000. The project log shows he paid $4,800 for the car, and is in for $28,000+ right now. I’m a Model A guy and don’t know enough about Model T’s to judge. What do you think?

If he has that much in it he should keep it in the family because he won't get too much over the $4,000 out of it.

Previous comment was before I saw it. Now I think he will see at least 1/2 of what is in it, maybe more.

A beautiful car and well restored. I hope the owner doesn't lose too much on this car, I would buy it if it wasn't so far away. A steal at 8K as of now.
