53-54 engine mounts

Hi every one at Ford Barn
I live in Perth Western Australia and i own a 1954 mainline coupe utility witch i believe was made in Victoria Australia has a v8 sidevalve motor or flathead motor. Engine mounts bolt to water pump
My question is i replaced all engine and gear box mounts now have a vibration weather driving or at idol,
have had a few suggestions that the engine mounts a far to hard
Any constructive advice greatly appreciated
