Default 59-AB engine components

Good day Ford experts! Going to completely rebuild my 46 FH V8 engine. Where is the best place to get the components? Rings, pistons, valves, bearings etc.? Will remain a stock engine but need quality parts. Will do machining locally. Thanks in advance!! Feel free to e-mail me supplier infos as well.

Egge for pistons and rings. If it's a stock engine, vavles and springs from the usual sources. I like 3rd Gen Automotive but I'm biased. I used NOS bearings on my last build.

Check out Red's Headers. They sell valve train kits including new Scheider cam and one piece guides and hollow adjustable lifters, Zepher springs. Save money when combined in a kit.

You've been given a good list of solid vendors. My suggestion is to figure out the complete package that you'll be needing and then shop the entire package with 3rd Gen, VanPelt and Reds. Then you'll have a really good idea as to who can supply what, the costs, etc..

Also, make sure you have the block checked out by the machine shop first (including magging, pressure testing and sonic testing) before you think about ordering pistons.

Similar with the crankshaft --> get it inspected, magged, etc..

If you're going the "performance route", then the sky is almost the limit on what you can spend as all the "go fast parts" can easily triple the costs.
