What are you working on?
today I'm working on a 28 - 29 gas tank just cleaning it up and a little sanding. I think I'm going to sandblast and prime there's little to no work left except paint . Also a photo test this the tank I'm replacing too many repaired bullet holes and its been lined I just don't trust it . But it looks good .

Re: What are you working on?
Finally found an original RH tail light bracket in NZ. It arrived last week. Spent a little time gathering wires, clips, hole drill and such in preparation for installation on my Tudor.
An interesting discovery: I have always been told that the repro RH tail light brackets for post-1929 are incorrect. But comparing this original to a repro from Mike’s, I can’t find any significant difference. I’ll still use the original on my Tudor because I am only the second owner and in every case since buying the car in 1961 I have used only original parts whenever feasible and possible. But I can say that if you’re thinking about adding a RH tail light (and you should be) don’t disregard the repro. They’re very good, at least from Mike’s.

Re: What are you working on?
When I Got my Victoria There was a tail light bracket that came with it, it had a R stamp on the back. Thought I was Lucky Maybe. The old saying measure twice & cut once rule came into effect. Took every measurement you could take about three or four times, Taped the bracket to the fender still didn't look right. With both brackets in hand & on the work bench this is what I found. The R bracket was shorter the the left, also the mounting face to the tail light was a different angle. The R bracket was new & from where I don't know. Mine came out good & I'm happy. I check eBay & Craigs list & seen pictures of some installs & you be the judge.
