Default 1937 tudor sedan body to frame bolt finish

Can someone tell me if the body to frame bolt heads are painted black like the body, or did Ford place the body on after it was painted. Thanks Bruce

Pretty sure the bodies were painted before they were attached to the frames. It would have been a little difficult afterwards.

Body was dropped after painting.

Contact Roy Nacewicz, www.fordbolts.com for the bolts you are looking for. He has the complete set in what Ford called S-2 finish.

Lots of S-2 finish fasteners were used on the chassis, but those used to attach the body to the frame were specified as cadmium plated (S-7). Very likely those are what Roy would provide in his kit.
