Default Henry's sister Margaret

Not sure if anyone here would find this of interest.

During a recent remodeling project on my diningroom the very last thing i did prior to installing the heat duct covers was to vacuume out the cold air return. after running the shop vac hose down the duct as far as it would go i could tell instantly that something was clogging up the hose, so i pulled it back out and found an obituary page from the 1960 Buffalo evening news. well being the type of guy that likes anything old i had to stop what i was doing to take a look and lo and behold the first thing my eyes focus on was this.

Hopefully this shows up ok.

Margaret's daughter Catherine died just a few years ago. She was in a rest home in Florida. I had the chance to meet her one time and she told a couple fascinating stories. As you may or may not know Margaret & Catherine lived with Henry & Clara Ford at their Edison Avenue home for a short time around 1910 or so.

Edsel Ford taught Catherine how to skate in the basement of the Edison Ave. home.

Margaret wrote a nice article in one of the Michigan local magazines titled, "My Brother Henry Ford". I will try to find it in my files and post it- provided it's not over at the offsite storage.

Margaret & Catherine later lived in a house at 147 River Lane in Dearborn- a home built for them by Henry Ford. This house still stands.
