Model A Sport Coupe landau bars were fabricated from elliptical cross section steel tube with the snap on shiny metal center section covers. The top ends were fit to the internal bow braces with a thin spacer, stud, and plated prop knobs. The lower ends were fit to plated or polished fittings that attached to the internal belt rail wood using studs, long spacers, and plated prop knobs. The 1930/31 Sport Coups had a larger fitting to the belt rail that is a lot larger than the 1928/29 cars but they are used the same bars.
Those bars appear to be castings but they are attached in a similar manner. Other manufacturers had similar coupe bodies with landau bars so they may not be Ford related unless they are from the model B era but I don't know how they were constructed. Maybe someone else has more information. They are pretty crusty so it's hard to tell much from the photos.
