Leaky block

[A V8 Al]

i'm leaking coolant into the combustion chamber and crankcase of my '48 V8. Any cure?..or just keep driving it until? The leak is in the lifter valley around a lifter bore.

Will need to be repaired. Magnaflux or something to fix the issue unless its beyond repair.

I do not understand how such a leak would invade the combustion chamber?? However, there are some remarkable block sealer products which can stop most leakers. Except government workers.

If you value your motor , I would repair or replace it before it is unrepairable , or at least much more expensive.

Try a large bottle of Barr's block sealer and see what
happens. G.M.

pull the plugs out and check for water (rust or just really clean plug) will help to indicate if it is a head gasket. I made up a rig to put air pressure in the cylinders and this has helped find a few leaks
