Here is a link to the Shinola $1000 "Henry Ford Pocket Watch"
Each of the 1,000 has a price of $1,000, available October 24, 2014, which also gains the owner membership in Shinola’s own collectors club, The Foundry. Pocket watches are a unique market of their own, so it is intriguing that Shinola went this route. http://www.wristwatchreview.com/2014...-pocket-watch/

anything sold as a collectable will never be a collectable. Buy a real antique pocket watch for a grand and in 5 or 10 years it'll be worth at least that much. This one here? not so much.

I have two pocket watches, one from 1913 the other 1926. They are worth more to me than this one would ever be .

When they don't sell enough of them, they'll just remove the Ford signature and replace with Chevy or Studebaker

I have the watch my grandmother gave my grandfather when they were married. There is no money I would accept for the watch.
