Buyers beware posting wtd. ads
Be very careful when posting wanted ads on this site, scammers hijack photos off Ebay and the Hamb send them to you and try to collect. I have been letting sellers know when their photos have been hijacked. Amazing when someone sends me photos of the item I am looking for and I find the exact photos on Ebay but with a different location and seller hmmm what a coincidence.

Re: Buyers beware posting wtd. ads
Thanks, I also check the post total. Funny when I first joined the HAMB I thought it was an earned privilege to use the classified sectiion, same here on The Barn. Lots of people think differently and just use it as a place to list for free without helping share knowledge. Bob

Re: Buyers beware posting wtd. ads
I toyed around with the scammer for a while until he figured out I was on to him. Also he would not take Paypal, there is no way I was going to send him a money order or... and hope he sends the part (which he did not have) at least with Paypal you would get your money back. PS. the scammer goes by the name Jacob Torres and most likely others so watch out.

I buy and sell both on Ebay, Here and the HAMB. As for selling, I use the same pics for the items on all three sites, I never intended to mislead anyone. I hoped I was doing a service by getting Vehicles & parts into the hands of people that could use and enjoy them.I hope the scammers don't mess it up for everybody As for posting on the threads here, I leave that to the experts and believe me I appreciate their wealth of knowledge
