Are there any articles or does anyone have any suggestions on how to install 28 Tudor body wood. I purchased new top and body wood, however the old wood had already been removed. Having trouble properly installing some pieces. I have the Model A Ford Mechanics Handbook Vol 2 that covers top wood, but haven't been able to locate anything on body wood installation. Thanks

The curved pieces at the rear of body that are located about the same height as the bottom of the quarter window (hip panel braces). Also the side window posts just behind the quarter window.

Mitch those pictures are fantastic! I too have a 1928 Tudor. Not to high jack this thread but do you by chance have pictures of the top right and top left where the top wood meets the front header panel? I've see pictures of 30-31Model A's but no 28-29 Tudors. If you or anyone else have pictures could you please post them. It would be a great help...

Thanks Tom, that thread helps a lot. Mitch there are brackets that tie the top wood to the header on 30-31 fords. I have inquired with the various vendors and they state there is no such bracket for the 28-29 Tudor and that's my delima! I have a 28 Tudor built in December of 27 out of the Oklahoma plant that has no wood left. I just want to make sure i'm replacing the top wood properly without sacrificing any strength. I was just looking at the Les Andrews book volume II and it appears the header and top wood is sandwiched together and secured with a long bolt running thru the wood to hold it together..... Maybe I just answered my own question HAHA

What does the bracket with two screws that is attached midway up the rear window post do? I'm missing that bracket. Does that have something to do with securing the quarter panel window garnish? Thanks
