Most reproduction floor mats come with jute backing and I do not believe that jute itself will hold moisture. Dennis Carpenter is going to release a new 36 Ford front floor mat in Taupe color that is supposed to be correct and much better than other reproduction mats. I am waiting to hear when they will be available, since I want to replace my old reproduction mat.
