It took me 30 years for my frame off of a 40 coupe. At 30 years and 8 months I'm still working out the bugs. They are never done.....

I bought my 1934 pickup in July of 1957 and stored it for restoration in 1968. After a 10 year resto it finally got on the road on June 24, 2009. Just got a Best in Class Award at an All Ford Truck Show in Arthur Ontario, on Sunday. Byron.

Parents bought my 32 Woody in '67 when I was four. My mom got ill and passed away eight years later and my dad just wasn't up to working on it. Fast forward to 2004, I decided it was time to start working on it, still am.

Got computer problems here. Tried different approaches to no avail.
Good news though, shop wants final color choice and scheme by Monday! Very cool! Taking much longer than I had hoped to get this far but I guess that is the body/paint business. Epoxy paint is in cure stage and filler primer/block sanding, guide coat scheduled to start next week or so. Had some issues with the original bodyman..delicate situation. Said he never had to guide coat his work and he was ready to shoot epoxy primer? Asked the owner to look at his work. I guess he agreed with me. Pulled the guy from my car and has his shop manager doing all the work now. No expert here, just enough mileage on me to know what good work should look like. Plus, I am paying the bills, and felt I was cheating myself if I hadn't said a thing and ended up with a S**t job |

rhphotord ........................
To post thumbnail photos, I have found that they can be no wider than 800 pixels wide. That is also a good size for e-mailing photos too. MIKE

Picked up the last painted parts for the 34 today and made final payment. The paint and body work look superb! Color chosen is a dark blue with a tinge of deep purple evident only in the sunlight. Opted to have very subtle shadow flames done on both the body sides and the fenders. The guy that did the flames is truly an artist....beyond expectations and overall I am glad I chose the shop I did. Assembly will be slow and painstaking over the winter. Difficult to restrain my enthusiasm after so many years but I feel like a kid on Christmas morning! Try to post pictures after resizing.
