B man Al ;
It looks like a 32 based on gas tank location . Did they relocate the gas tank to the rear on "late 31 " . |

1928 Martin-Parry No. 218 Park Body The Martin-Parry Corporation was a builder of many types of vehicle bodies, and they would mount their bodies on Ford, Chevrolet or other manufacturer’s chassis. In 1930 Chevrolet purchased the Martin-Parry Corporation and it eventually became the Body by Fisher Division of Chevrolet. I know of only 2 of these vehicles to still exist in the world. The other one is in Massachusetts. I purchased this vehicle in the Los Angeles, CA. area in November 2010 and completed it enough to take it to a car show in May 2012. As we know they are usually a work in progress. After purchasing the vehicle, I took it all a part for a frame up restoration. While I worked on replacing the wood, I had a local body shop do the body work and painting. Here is the car as I purchased it. Here is as it looks today. |
