Default Re: ZZ-Top Strips Gone after 10 Years

I've done it in a somewhat similar fashion, except for the SPRAYING-on part. First of all, the YELLOW can is the one to use (not the black can). I use a wet (dip in water, first) Q-TIP which I then dip into a small container which I've sprayed a small amount of the can's contents into. Wipe the pin-striped line with a dampened (with water) cloth. Then, paint the portion of pin-stripe line that you want to remove. Like said above, wait about five minutes, then wipe thoroughly with a wet rag to remove the line of pin-stripe. No overspray mess to deal with. ALWAYS try a test on an obscure portion of your paint to make sure there will be no ill effects on your paint BEFORE attempting the main mission. DD
