Best thing I ever did to my 27 roadster was put a Z high compression head on it. Huge difference. Then I put the 3.00 Ruckstell rear end back in. Big difference in drivability. For running with the 3.63 geared friends though on hilly country it slows a little on hills. I will be putting in the 12 tooth pinion for the 3.25 or 3.33 depending on ring gear. That should be the best all around for me.
