This is the way it looked about 1-1/2 years ago when I pulled it home. It had been sitting since 1960 in a garage, where the owner back then tore it apart to make a stock car out of it and just let it sit. In 2010, an acquaintance bought it and got it running (kind of). I traded him my '55 Buick Special for it, which was a pretty nice car, but I have't regret it for a second!

Looks solid. All 35-36 3/w are Deluxe. No standard 3/w in 35-36.

Congrats on the 3 Window - I agree with others - let us know what you think you may want to do with your new acquisition - lots of choices - so take your time, ask lots of questions. You have a lot of experience here on the board!

Out of all the things you do put skirts on it. Love these cars with them.

Here is my coupe. The outdoor picture is from about 12 years ago. The garage picture is current. The car has new paint and body work.

Garrett, the '36 cars and trucks are great and you will enjoy yours!

Looks great. My father purchased the car back when in the 90's. He worked on it some but not as much as he wanted. I finally talked him into letting me take it to school to get most of the metal work done. The chassis is basically finished, rolling on wide fives and juice brakes. Pics are coming!!

Dont worry, I have plenty to go around. My first would be Deluxes came with wood grain dashes and polished wide-5s? Any thing else special about the deluxe; interior material, color, etc... -Sharp

Polished wide fives? Do you mean Spider caps? That's just an accessory.

When do you graduate, and what are you plans after graduation? My shop is always looking for qualified people. And my Dad and I have a fleet of '36s.

My 5 window on a road trip to Georgia.
