I only left the gauge on 4 or 5 hours and was still holding pressure. After a week or 2 the cars I have with them on start right up. You like research. look up Fords test and the results. G.M.

It always adds credibility to an opinion to have it backed up by research/testing. I did test my stock pump and it was within the specs you said it should be. I never go more than a day or two without driving and have a secondary check valve in my electric pump so never have a problem starting.
