I think that they shimmed the front of the cowl in an attempt to allow for the taller 31 radiator. Shimming the front of the cowl will kick the back of the door down. If the whole body had been shimmed it would have looked better. Door alignment is mostly controlled by shimming the body. The doors have the correct molding for a 28-29 coupe & tudor. the quarters and top appear correct for a 28-29 standard coupe. the rear bumper appears correct. The main things that stand out is the wheels, radiator and the steering. |
