Default Re: Some believe I've crossed over to the dark side. 39/40 vs. '36

Kube - The deluxe items could have been ordered individually when your Sedan Delivery was built but also later and installed after production, but it's obviously impossible to know for sure without any original sales paperwork. The deluxe features were also available as a package with all of them installed during production, but it seems like this is not the option the original purchaser of your Sedan Delivery chose, so my opinion is that your Sedan Delivery started out as a standard model and got some of the deluxe upgrades at some point.

I'm not sure that a 1936 Commercial windshield was available in stainless, all those I've seen and researched a chromium-plated steel.

I'm really enjoying the updates and what you are doing. I'm finishing a full restoration but would like to take on a project like yours if ever the right truck came along so it's fun to watch your progress.
