I feel that BAT is not the proper venue for early cars. They usually do terrible. They sell lots of Porsche, Datsun Zs. Ferrari, McClaren, G Wagons, muscle cars and on and on for record prices. Those buyers are younger and not looking for an old man's ford. Occasionally a Full Classic will come across and get what looks like good money but they rarely meet reserve and often bring less than they could at one of the big name specialty auctions. I guess with no reserve on this T we will see what one is worth. My guess, $4300.

I think the Art Dr. has sized up BaT perfectly! I sold my '27 T hot rod and my '47 Super Deluxe Convertible there, however, because it is a venue that gets a lot of exposure. As noted, it seems to be a younger buyer's marketplace...and yes, they are not "looking for an old man's Ford"! (Think the latest '40 Ford Coupe was only bid to about $16K which didn't come close to the reserve.)
