Thanks mercman. Funny thing, that F350 that I swore I'd never sell, I sold during the great recession to pay some back taxes. It went to a really nice guy in British Columbia who sold it online about 5 years later. Next thing I know I see it after it was unloaded in Australia. My old BSA sticker caught my eye immediately. Maybe some day you will run across it.

I don't believe that the fenders for the F2-F6 are the same?
This picture shows the Grille on the largest Ford Trucks offered here in Australia.
Possibility the equivalent of the F-6.
Take a look at the Grille and you will notice that it wider than the smaller trucks of this era.
On the Pick-Ups, the Grille Bars end where the Fenders join to the middle section.
On this big Ford Truck, you can that the Grille Bars extend past this join.
From this, it is obvious that these fenders would not be interchangeable with those on an F-2.
This looks like an F7 or F8 grille and fenders which are larger than the F2-6 versions.

I see what you mean. Looks like more investigation is in order.

48-50 grille and hood are the same for F-1 through F-6. This was covered in a thread for me before I removed an F-6 grille to use on my F-1 pickup. I believe the grille changed with the F-7.

FortyNiner suggested that this Big Ford Truck (Posts 19 & 22) looks like an F-7 or F-8 ?
I am not sure that Ford ever offered the equivalents of the F-6 or F-7 locally.
Ford Australia never labelled their trucks F-Series until the 1955 models.
For example, in 1955, the largest Ford Truck that was available was the F600.
I believe the first time Ford Australia offered the F700 was 1963.
Then in 1966, Ford Australia offered the F800
Please refer to the above Specifications for the Australian 1948 Ford Truck availability.
Do any of these specifications match the F-6 or F-7 Specifications?

NO, the F-2 Front fenders are about 2 1/2 higher to accommodate larger F-2 tires. My 1951 F-1 had F-2 front fenders, which came from a re-builder I bought from.
