Seems like the more examples I see the more different they are. No doubt time has affected original examples color to really define how the grain effect looked when new.

I note the o/p dash is installed and maybe you should settle for what it is although not exactly what was ordered. If not the hydro dipped method provides very nice results if you want to have it exact.
