My standard stanchions that I bought on this swap meet section years ago, had a hole drilled and tapped in the left side stanchion. Use it to mount my mirror.

I think I will go this route. Where is the hole located (how far up from the wingnut) and does this location work out alright for you? Given the choice, would you locate it higher or lower? Thanks
