It's NOT a "restoration" manual but in the "The Early Ford V8" as Henry Built It by Ed Francis and George De Angelis. The short answer IS remember these are assembled by humans and at several locations......Was every rule followed to the "T"??? Most likely not in this case. David's extensive knowledge and intellect most assured will expand on this!!
