Default Re: Thinking about selling the '34 Phaeton

Thanks,
An update on what I have done with it. Removed [ but saved] the reds headers and dual exhaust. Had a NOS head pipe and crossover and excellent exhaust manifolds Put them on along with the NORS muffler that came with car. Tail pipe was from Fred of southside obsolete. I like quiet cars.

Took the model A horn off and hooked the stock ones back up.

Put the NOS windshield frame that came with car on. Kept stock one of course.
ADDING forgot about changing the top irons out with a set off a restored car. Bought new bows from "oak bows" but they are on shelf.
Put a mint set of correct aluminum heads on it.
Rest is same as last update.

Have had to adjust brakes twice and can sure appreciate how good Mike was at that. Takes some fine tuning to get all 4 tires to skid on pavement. Was that way when I bought it.

The little deer warning bell on front bumper bracket is still there.

Did buy Mikes MINTY spare tire cover back from the man that bought the NOS front fenders, grille and bumpers sold before car.

Did get the rear fenders from Mike Jr though.

First pic is from 2023 in its new home.
Second pic is from 1963.
60 years apart and car has not changed much.
