Default Engine remanufacturer

This isn't exactly early V8, it's about the flat six in my '49 F-2.

The engine I installed in 40 years ago is tired. It's rebuildable but I have another engine I pulled out of parts truck 10+ years ago. I pulled it apart to see the internal condition and it's in better shape than the one that is in the truck now. It needs new rings and rod bearing but everything is in specs so I don't need to have machine work done. I'm having a fun time finding parts for this engine, the sixes aren't as sexy as the V8s so not many places carry parts for them.

Anyways, the quest I have that might be able to be answered by the group is the engine I'm going to use was rebuilt some time before I pulled out of the parts truck. The engine is painted a bright orange and has a remanufacturer's tag with very little information. Just wondering any would have an idea who would have rebuilt this engine. I've found tags exactly like this on few auction websites that pictures of the cars and trucks engines they were selling but no information on the engines.
