Default Re: Rear shock mount studs

A number of years ago I installed the long upper mounting stud in my '38. It does go all the way through the cross member. A larger hole is drilled in the rear face of the crossmember to insert the stud into, and a smaller hole is drilled into the front face to accept the smaller stud. It has been a while and I don't remember the details but I can take a look. I have since returned to original shocks so the studs are there "just in case".
