My car had Autolite 216's when I got it. Using ngk B6L now and never had a problem with either.

Had this happen with a NGK plug once on an alternate make engine. Just finished changing the valve body and this happened upon almost completion. Thank God it came out with a tap on a screw driver and twist as it was 8inch down thru a little hole in the valve body!
