I have installed turn signals in quite a few old Fords.
My method had 2 required parameters. 1- It had to be self canceling. 2- It had to look like it came from the factory. I used a 53 to 56 F100 column tube with turn signal switch intact. I used 32/50 bulbs in the tail lights. NO problem seeing them if you were qualified to drive. I used the parking or cowl lights for the front turns. Some cars required minor machine work on the steering shaft to adapt the cancellng cam. |
