I am not saying the modern coils are bad, I am suggesting that the NAPA coils just don’t last long. I would not use another one, I’ve had too much trouble with them. A nd I like NAPA!
Well to admit, just today I replaced a faulty coil on a Early Ford that was a Cheap Echlin NAPA coil.. I think due to the under hood heat on these flatheads a Epoxy coil is the way to go not a oil filled..
