Actually we have to use the gas/fuel sold at the event. For our combination we use gas for the fuel record also. The vendor on the salt sells VP brand race gas I use their C-16 which is 118 octane its $17.00 a gallon in three miles the engine burns one gallon. To run the 19 miles and including running the engine for a tune we used 7 gallons of race gas. Certainly NOT an economy combination. Some will ask how heavy is the car its over 3000 pounds race ready including driver wearing all the required safety gear. Thats all the secrets I can give away at this point
