I have a KRW stand that is missing the parts tray and the base.
According to the 1940 KRW catalog they had sold 14,000 of them in the last 20 years. In the catalog the base looks like it was an option, also the base in the 1940 catalog is not cast like the one in the picture, it is made from a 30X30X1/4 steel plate. ![]() Great thread and thanks for the pics. I have one of those that I have beem trying to soak free to get the head to turn. I had no idea that there was a base for them. Looked like it would have to be fastened to the floor to be stable. It is good to see all the attachments that were available. I will have to be on the lookout for some of them. When I get mine loosened up and working I plan to mount an old flattie on it for display. It would be a good use for a cracked block that would have no other value. |
