Default Re: adding std bypass oil filter

All the supply and return ports are in the block.
The only major difference is how the canister assy. is mounted to the head.
Early ( prior to 1950 ) 8BA's mounted using head bolts. The later ones had dedicated bosses cast into the heads.
The oil return hole is tapped into the side of the block, above the pan rail.
