While anything is possible, 7538 doesn't correlate very well with an engine production number from October. Does your body have any of the late body characteristics (sun visors, number of screws in the rear window garnish moulding, and number of attachments of the glove box to the front belt rail finish panel (dash)? Presumably not, given the body number.
Mine has the early rear window garnish and early glovebox to dash attachment. I don't have any sunvisors but the holes for them are angled, not clear on the difference there. Thanks!
