The plate "I AM 809" is probably stretching its age a bit. Beautiful truck, though in Australia they made "Roadter Utes" (non well-side) through to 1936 maybe even longer. Mercman will correct me if i'm wrong.

Yes, that ol truck and yes those were 46 Mercury (no linger on it)
