He also had a '28 Phaeton and a Roadster...(I also swear I have him in a station wagon too, will look for that pic)

What are those two fasteners--one on the windshield mast and the other on the door just below the belt line? Some sort of murphy fastener? No need for side curtains on a 68B since it had windows.

Also, when fully closed, the windshield frame on my '31 68B sits outside of the windshield mast; in this picture, the frame seems to be recessed, why? Perhaps a bulletproof windshield?
