Marshall - it is too bad that your car won't run with an old original 1928-'31 Ford Model A side cover. In a 'pinch' some of us have been known to have done such a thing. Later, after you have returned from the Bix show, you can without pressure, leisurely work out the problem. Meanwhile, you will have escaped some unhealthy anxiety.
