Mike,
Sorry about the theft. We would all like to think this kind of stuff doesn't happen in our hobby, unfortunately it does. With Turlock and San Diego swap meets coming up soon, we'll keep our eyes open. Richard Anaheim CA |

Do you have a photo for us purists that might want to keep our eyes out for it?

Yep, I know the feeling. Several years ago a damn thief stole 6, Brumfield Super Heads right out of the shop. I figured out later whom the thief was but I couldn't quite prove it. The heads were gone forever. Hopefully that won't be the case with Mike.
I remember a remark by one fellow when I made the news known; he said, "Well look at it this way, Brumfield, at least they think enough of your products to steal 'em. That's quite a compliment." |

"Stick out"...exactly! Rare/fully functional/complete, etc- equals money! In addition to what Richard, above, said, watch for it to show/sell at the : Grand National Roadster Show in Jan 2011 also. Was there any serial number that we can look for? |

They thought enough of your product's value to steal it but thought zero of your time, effort and what mattered to you. ![]() Thats not a compliment in my book. Sorry, grew up with an older brother who was always stealing things from me and others. There are some things you just don't do and thats one of them. |

Tube, that's not what the fellow was considering when he used the word "compliment." People generally steal things that are valuable and sought after (In this case just the fact that they were Brumfield Heads; regardless of the time, effort and what mattered to me). .
